PUG UK & Ireland Launches New Web Site

The Progress User Group for the UK and Ireland has today launched a new web site. As well as an excellent cosmetic makeover, with a fresh new logo and look created by PUG member Towquest Ltd, the new site includes new content. This includes exciting ideas such as a new type of membership, a new page to connect to other PUG members. A member’s forum will be available shortly.

The new membership type, called "Individual Membership" recognises that some of the most active and technically advanced Progress users are the independent consultants. So as well as our current Corporate Membership, which allows many individuals within a company to gain membership benefits, our new Individual Membership is a lower cost option that allows an independent consultant or the single Progress professional in a small company to join and gain the same benefits for that named individual.

The "Members" page lists all of the current members, their logos where we have them and a link to their company web site. It can be used for one member to find out about the products and services of another. There is also a "Members News" section which will allow members to make announcements which they think might be of interest to other members.  The Members Forum will allow members to hold threaded discussions about topics of interest.
